Yoga and Yogic Practices

The practice of Yoga brings about a harmony in the body and it maintains a positive and total health. Consciously relaxing the physical parts of the body and mental facilities. All the movements in Yogic practices should be slow, steady, controlled, continuous and rhythmic — Sthira Sukham Asanam. An asana should be steady and pleasurable psycho-somatic pose involving the entire personality. Retention of the final stage of Asana is more important than its rounds. One feels more energetic after practicing Yoga.
